    Samsung Galaxy M34 Review- Design

From a design perspective, the Galaxy M34 5G mobile does not appear to be attractive. Still, it would meet your expectations with a standard design. While predecessors have a matte backside, Galaxy M34 comes with a reflective back. You should clean the backside frequently to avoid fingerprints.

The overall design is slim, allowing you to grab the phone in your hand. The ergonomic button placement allows for one-handed use. The power button is not just for unlocking the mobile quickly. It has a fingerprint reader for your convenience. The 3.5mm jack is present at the bottom of the phone.

The well-designed phone has an IP67-certified case that ensures no damage from water splashes. On the contrary, M32 has no ratings for water resistance.

To sum up the Galaxy M34 5G review from design viewpoints, the mobile has a familiar look.

    Samsung Galaxy M34 Review- Display

Galaxy M34 comes with a Super AMOLED display of around 6.5 inches. The Full HD resolution will provide the best experience. However, while comparing the display size, we found that Galaxy M34 is bigger than its predecessors by 0.1 inches. (Galaxy M31 has 6.4-inch display)

As per the latest Galaxy M34 reviews from genuine users, the device has a super-bright display. However, there is a slight display flickering issue across different brightness levels. At the minimum brightness, the frame rate is around 120 Hz.

The brand claims to provide 1000 nits of peak brightness. However, we have found only 832 nits of brightness.

Samsung has used Gorilla Glass 5 to ensure protection for your display.

Like other Samsung mobiles, Galaxy M34 has an Eye Comfort Shield, which restricts the blue light produced by the screen. You can turn on the dark mode, which looks good on the AMOLED display.

Choose from Natural and Vivid screen modes depending on preference. The white balance is adjustable manually. But, we have not found any low-brightness anti-flicker mode, which is present in phones within the same price range.

    Samsung Galaxy M34 Camera Review

With a triple rear camera setup, the Galaxy M34 5G mobile is good for photographers. It provides-

    • An 8MP ultra-wide camera
    • A 50MP primary sensor (Optical Image Stabilization)
    • A 2MP macro sensor
    • 13MP selfie cameras and rear cameras (recording videos at 30fps).

You will experience decent colors in the photos captured with the 8MP ultra-wide camera. Moreover, the primary camera excellently captures details and colors in daylight. You can also use the portrait mode for a blur effect. However, in this case, we felt the need for proper lighting on the subject to show the details clearly.

The 2MP macro camera has a low-resolution sensor and does not offer much detail. If you prefer self-portraits, the 13MP selfie camera will not frustrate you.

To sum up the Samsung M34 review, the mobile is good for macro shots with the main camera.

    Samsung M34 Review- Performance Standards

The Galaxy M34 5G with the latest version comes with Android 15-based One UI 7.0. The mobile is available with different storage versions- 128 GB and 256GB. The software allows multiple customization options to elevate your experience.

CPU Throttling Test conducted on the mobile showed that Galaxy M34 throttled to 85% of its peak performance. It means that the mobile is designed to sustain significant workloads.

With a 5nm Exynos 1280 octa-core chipset, the phone can handle light gaming and basic tasks comfortably. We had not experienced issues and lags when multitasking. But, playing mobile games for prolonged hours may lead to frame drops at times.

Galaxy M34 5G Review- Battery Quality

Galaxy M34 5G is a mid-range mobile with a battery capacity of around 6000 mAh. We have found the same battery capacity while reviewing the Galaxy M35. With a fully charged battery, you can use the phone for 2 days. In our 4K video test, the phone’s battery lasted around 20 hours. If you play Call of Duty mobile games for 15 minutes, the battery charge drops by almost 3%.

But, remember that the package does not come with a charger. So, you have to purchase a quality charger separately.

Galaxy M34 is compatible with only 25W wired charging. There is no option for wireless charging or reverse wired charging. The device takes more than 2 hours to get charged.

    • Perfect for multitasking

Slow charging and no wireless option

Should You Buy Samsung Galaxy M34 5G?

To sum up, our Samsung Galaxy M34 review, the phone has a lot of basic features. Good battery life, fast performance, and a decent camera are positive aspects of the mobile. With reasonable pricing, Galaxy M34 stands strong in the competitive market. However, we think that the ultrawide and primary cameras need improvement. The pre-installed bloatware is annoying. If these issues do not bother you, we recommend buying the Galaxy M34.
