    Galaxy S24 Design Review

If you already own Galaxy 23, you will find no difference in Galaxy S24 from the design perspective. The aluminum glass sandwich is used for both mobiles. The screen size is 6.2 inches (slightly smaller than Galaxy F14).

The backside glass panel features Gorilla Glass Victus 2. When we touched the mobile, we felt it solid. It is also easy to grip the flat side. The compact design allows one-handed use.

The 3 separate rings found at the back panel indicate the triple cameras. The mobile includes a flash module (a small circle) close to the camera.

Overall, the Galaxy S24 has a rounded design and is larger than the S24+. The lightweight, small mobile easily fits into your pocket.  Moreover, it is IP68-certified, ensuring it is resistant to water and dust.

    Samsung Galaxy S24 Review- Display

With a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, Galaxy S24 has provided a good visual experience. As the peak brightness is 2600 nits, the display is legible even outdoors. You can read messages or watch videos on a sunny day.

The screen comes with Natural and Vivid color modes. The Adaptive display adjusts the colors depending on the ambient light conditions.

From Samsung Galaxy S24 5G reviews, we found users are satisfied with the battery. The adaptive refresh rate is about 1Hz-120Hz. As the phone is equipped with LTPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) technology, it saves battery life.

But, what pleased us most was the responsive touch and smooth scrolling during gameplay. Adaptive color tone adjustment is another notable feature of the Galaxy S24 5G. The full HD display has a resolution of around 1080 x 2340 pixels.

Moreover, we have found symmetrical and slimmer bezels around the display.

But, one drawback is that Galaxy S24 has no low-brightness anti-flicker modes and DC dimming features. On the contrary, most other AMOLED phones in the market have these features.

Software and Performance- Samsung Galaxy S24 Review

Let us talk about the software performance of Galaxy S24. This Android 14 mobile. Samsung has promised Android OS updates, and you will get a bunch of AI features.

Galaxy AI allows you to do a lot of things-

    • Remove unwanted objects from photos
    • Design wallpapers
    • Transcribe your phone calls
    • Translate your text in real-time

So, these AI features are the main USPs for Galaxy S24. The AI photo editor allows you to erase and enlarge any object.

Another AI feature that has gained our attention is the Circle to Search with Google. Just circle any object on the screen and start your search. We have found the same feature in the premium Google Pixel phones.

Use the interpreter mode for live text or voice translation. You need to use the Samsung Phone app to explore the real-time phone translator. But, only limited languages work with the Live Translate feature.

Galaxy S24 caused no issue with performance. We didn’t experience any major heating issues or lag during regular and heavy usage.

The processor used for Galaxy S24 depends on where you buy the phone. In China, North America, and other countries, the S24 has a Qualcomm processor (Snapdragon 8 gen 3) that ensures high efficiency and powerful performance. But, in India and a few other markets, you will find Galaxy S24 with Exynos 2400 (In Galaxy S21 FE 5G we found Exynos 2100 So processor).

Samsung Galaxy S24 comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage capacity.

    Galaxy S24 Review- Battery Performance

While comparing the battery of Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24, we have found an improvement in the latter. Galaxy S24 comes with a 4000mAh battery capacity. You can choose wired or wireless charging mode depending on your preference.

Reverse wireless charging is also available at 4.5W. It means you can another device at the back of Galaxy S24 to charge it. So, there is no need to use a charger in this case.

For wired charging with a quality charger, the phone takes around 90 minutes to get charged. On the contrary, the wireless charging process is slow and takes at least 2 hours to 2 hours for full charge.

    Galaxy S24 Review- Camera

The easy-to-use camera app of Galaxy S24 will excite photographers. Like other Galaxy mobiles, the S24 has a triple rear camera.

    • 50-megapixel camera ISOCELL GN3 primary sensor
    • 12-megapixel ultra-wide
    • A 10-megapixel telephoto with optical zoom

The front side includes a 12-megapixel selfie camera. But, there is no auto-focus with the ultra-wide camera.

The phone camera includes different modes, such as Pro and Night modes. While capturing videos, you may also use slow-motion features and hyper-lapse.

Although the main camera works well in low-light conditions. Increased noise is an issue for some users.
